I’m baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Well well, lookit this, after a couple months in hiding I’m back in business and ready to get this thing going again. Expect regular posts from moi, and hopefully another contributor or two, if I feel like expanding this. There were many reasons to stop; mainly not actually being able to use a computer and find time to blog. My secondary excuse would be something about how music has been awful lately.. or so I might think.

For now it’s time to do a bit of recapping, so first up is one of the greatest musicians ever.

Motor City Drum Ensemble (aka Danilo Plessow) is a producer from Germany. Wait, scratch that.. he is the BEST producer ever born of Germany. Sorry, Boys Noize fans. His music mostly ranges from deep-house to disco, and with a slew of remixes, as well as his massively-acclaimed Raw Cuts series, it ain’t hard to see why he’s getting so much attention (he’s kind of a babe too.. ahem). I saw him play at Sorry Grandma last friday for what many people said was the absolute best gig of the year. If you’re not into this guy know, take a listen and I guarantee you will be.
